EU Parliament Members Say U.S. Still Has Questions to Answer on NSA Snooping

The top European Union official for civil rights said Wednesday that the U.S. Justice Department has yet to answer all of her concerns about a controversial American surveillance program. EU Commissioner Viviane Reding, vice president responsible for Justice, Fundamental Rights, and Citizenship, said in an EU Parliament session that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had answered only some of her questions about the program in a meeting in Dublin. Reding submitted written questions to Holder earlier this month.
