FinCEN Clarifies Beneficial Ownership Expectations for Tribal Authorities

Legal entities formed by Tribal authorities rather than by states must still disclose the names and other details of their beneficial owners as required by the Corporate Transparency Act, or CTA,  unless they meet one of the law's exemptions, the U.S. financial intelligence unit has clarified.
