U.S. Judge Reverses Decision to Censor Web Site over Bank Laundering Scandal

A U.S. federal judge on Friday reversed a court order to shut down a Web site that had posted leaked bank documents detailing accounts purportedly used for money laundering. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White had ordered the domain registrar of Wikileaks.org, a Web site that encourages whistleblowers to post damaging documents, to suspend the site Feb. 15. Swiss bank Julius Baer Holding AG had sued to have the site permanently shut down for allegedly posting hundreds of leaked customer documents.
