UK Fintechs Call For Alliance With Banks Against Criminals

Thirty U.K. financial technology services firms have established their own organization for sharing data on suspicious activity and other legal and regulatory risks, but said their efforts will be limited without input from the mainstream banking sector. Launched in January, the Fintech Financial Crime Exchange, or FFE, permits a broad range of fledgling financial technology firms, some of which have limited resources and experience in countering financial crime, to share information on emerging scams and suspicious online activity.
