UAE, Other Middle Eastern and Gulf Nations Restrict Banking Ties to Qatar

The withdrawal of Emirati lenders from Qatar-related business amid the Gulf country’s political standoff with Saudi Arabia and its allies has complicated and threatened the region’s deeply intertwined banking relationships, sources told ACAMS moneylaundering.com.
