Money-Mule Networks Growing in Scope and Sophistication: FBI Officials

Online fraudsters are increasingly turning to encrypted forums on the dark web to engage with handlers of “sophisticated” money-mule networks and move funds from business email compromises and similar frauds, FBI officials told ACAMS moneylaundering.com.
