FinCEN’s Caesars Palace Investigation One of Four Probes into Vegas Casinos: Sources

Federal officials are investigating four of Nevada's most well-known casinos for potential violations of the Bank Secrecy Act, according to sources familiar with the matter and a regulatory disclosure published Monday. Caesars Entertainment Corp., the parent company of Las Vegas-based Caesars Palace, said in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing Monday that the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) could issue a civil monetary penalty against it for alleged anti-money laundering (AML) violations.
