FinCEN Acting Director Announces Resignation

The acting head of the U.S. financial intelligence unit announced Tuesday that he would step down from the role.   Michael Mosier, a former deputy director of the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, returned to lead the bureau on a temporary basis in April after Ken Blanco, the bureau's former director, accepted a senior compliance role at Citibank.   Himamauli Das, a senior managing director at K2 Integrity in Washington, D.C., who advises financial institutions and other clients on foreign investment-related transactions that may present national security issues, will lead FinCEN while the Treasury Department searches for...
