French FIU Gives Cryptocurrency Exchanges, Other VASPs Rare Gift: Cautious Praise

Virtual asset service providers, or VASPs, and electronic money institutions, also known as EMIs, were the main drivers behind a substantial rise in suspicious transaction reporting in France from 2022 to 2023, the country's financial intelligence unit disclosed Thursday.
