HSBC Holdings Plc will apologize to a U.S. Senate subcommittee Tuesday for failing to stop money laundering at the bank, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg. The bank's chief executive officer said in the memo that it's "right that we are held accountable" for the compliance lapses.
