N.J. Man Sentenced for Structuring Bank Deposits in Credit Card Fraud

A New Jersey man has been sentenced to 37 months in prison for credit card fraud and making structured financial transactions totaling over $600,000 in banks located in Hudson County, N.J. Kamal S. Elhomsi, of Fort Lee, N.J., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jerome Simandle on Dec. 19, after pleading guilty to one count of credit card fraud and one count of structuring transactions to evade reporting requirements.
