Sanctions Bill Gives Treasury Greater Oversight of Iranian Guard Transactions

Newly approved legislation imposing a raft of fresh sanctions on Russia, North Korea and Iran will afford the U.S. Treasury much greater insight into the financial activity of Iran's powerful security force. Last week the U.S. Congress voted nearly unanimously for the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, which President Donald Trump has pledged to sign into law despite his expressed misgivings about some of the bill's provisions.
