U.S., UBS Say Issues ‘Remain to be Solved’ in Tax Evasion Settlement

The United States and UBS AG asked a Miami judge Friday to again delay a tax evasion hearing so the parties could hash out the details of a preliminary settlement. The request is the third delay for the lawsuit against the Swiss bank, which paid the U.S. Justice Department $780 million in February for helping wealthy Americans avoid reporting their assets to tax collectors.
