US Check Counterfeiters Recruiting, Victimizing Younger Money Mules

Counterfeiters are increasingly recruiting teenagers and young adults online and instructing them to open "starter" bank accounts and deposit fraudulent checks on their behalf, federal investigators and compliance officers told ACAMS moneylaundering.com. Counterfeit check schemes generally follow the same pattern.
