Holy Land Charity Found Guilty on All Counts in Terrorist Financing Trial

A Muslim charity and its five directors are guilty of funneling at least $12 million to a Palestinian terror group, a jury said Monday, granting the United States a major victory in an expensive retrial. There were no courtroom theatrics this time when jurors delivered the verdict in the case of the Richardson, Texas-based Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. Jurors took eight days to convict the five men, accused of secreting money to blacklisted terror group Hamas through money given to Islamic charity organizations known as zakats.
