Treasury Chooses Replacements for Senior TFFC Officials

The U.S. Treasury Department has picked replacements for two recently vacated senior-level positions involved with the drafting of economic sanctions and anti-money laundering policies, according to an official. Jennifer Fowler, formerly a senior advisor to U.S. sanctions chief David Cohen, was named deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes (TFFC) last month, according to the official, who asked not to be named. Former Deputy Assistant Secretary Luke Bronin left the position in January to become chief advisor to Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy.
