Treasury Department Seeks 11 New BSA Advisory Group Members

The federal agency responsible for administering the Bank Secrecy Act is looking for 11 applicants from trade organizations, companies and state government to complete its 51-member consultative group. The Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (BSAAG), a board of government officials and financial institutions, said in the Federal Register Tuesday that it was accepting applications for open positions. The organization reports on regulatory compliance to the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), the agency that chairs the group.
