Senate Passes Bill That Would Ease Cuban Sanctions

The U.S. Senate passed a bill Tuesday that would allow businesses to travel to Cuba for the sale of agricultural and medical products, the first rollback of economic sanctions against the country in over eight years. The measure, which would also allow individuals to meet immediate family members in the country once per year, was part of an omnibus appropriation bill that passed with a Senate vote of 62 to 35.
