Bush Administration Seeks 6.4 Percent Budget Increase for FinCEN

The Bush Administration is seeking a 6.4 percent budget increase for the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network in fiscal 2009 to improve the agency's administration of the Bank Secrecy Act and expand its efforts to share money laundering-related information with other nations and U.S. law enforcement.
